It all started with a beautiful dream of a family business and creating a smaller, more personal hotel where we had the opportunity to socialise and get to know our guests. When we took over the old Q-marked warehouse in 2016, unfortunately, it had deteriorated over many years and was in need of total renovation.
However, the beautiful location by the quayside in the old town was unbeatable, and we had a strong vision to recreate the beautiful authentic turn-of-the-century environment. We have transformed Hamngatan 27 into an accommodation that we ourselves appreciate, and many of our guests are returning guests who appreciate the relaxing environment and the familiar, cosy atmosphere with us.

A visit to our garden is like coming home to grandma’s lilac arbour when you were a child. A garden with trickling water, roses, lilacs, boxwood hedges, and lavender. A genuine nostalgic garden feeling.
